"No Laughing Matter" Comedy Night In Oban
What a phenomenal way to start a challenge. The "No Laughing Matter" gig in Oban was the most successful comedy night staged in aid of Act4Africa .... anywhere..... anytime....ever! We can't thank Max, Davey and Lorne enough (the boys had been working their socks off to fill the hall and make sure that Oban had a night to remember for months) and of course Oban Express for sponsoring the gig. I don't think the Corran Halls has ever had so many headline acts on one stage on one night - boys you put on a phenomenal performance. Big thanks also to Linda, who'd given up her weekend to come and help Act4Africa and the Hasgrove girls who really pulled in the cash from raffle, t-shirt and ribbon sales. We're just waiting for the final total but it looks like the event will have grossed around £7,000!
