Rex Boyd
Anyone who has seen Rex Boyd on stage would think that he gets enough exercise while working to not bother with training for the 3 Peaks. The other comedians may not realise that he plans to force the others into having a proper stretch before the climbing begins, eating organic twigs, and putting together a bit of Broadway style choreography for the final descent of Mount Snowdon.In his normal daily life as a comedian, Rex is undoubtedly one of the most skilful and adept performers you are ever likely to see. Using the manic physicality of a cross between Lee Evans and Jim Carrey, he consistently evokes thrillingly unpredictable responses and laughter through his expert interaction with the audience.
Rex started performing in his hometown of Kansas City in 1986. A couple of years later he was working the London alternative comedy scene as well as street performing regularly at Covent Garden. This was followed by four years globe trotting the festival circuit before finally settling down back in England where he has been a consistent highlight of the comedy club and street festival circuits ever since.
