Rex Boyd is undoubtedly one of the most skilful and adept street performers you are ever likely to see. Using the manic physicality of a cross between Lee Evans and Jim Carrey, Rex consistently evokes thrillingly unpredictable responses and laughter through his expert interaction with the audience. His shows have an exciting, party-like atmosphere mixing stand-up comedy, improvisation, mime, dance, mimicry, and occasionally maybe even a bit of juggling.
Rex started performing in his hometown of Kansas City in 1986. A couple of years later he was working the London alternative comedy scene as well as street performing regularly at Covent Garden. This was followed by four years globe trotting the festival circuit before finally settling down back in England where he has been a consistent highlight of the comedy club and street festival circuits ever since.
